Main functions of 48V DC feeder panel

Distribution of power supply: Distribute 48V DC power from DC power supply system (such as rectifier, battery pack, etc.) to multiple devices or branches that need DC power supply to ensure that each device obtains stable and reliable DC power supply.



Protection line: The panel is usually equipped with protection devices such as DC circuit breakers and fuses. When a branch has an overload, short circuit or other faults, it can automatically cut off the power supply of the faulty branch to protect the safety of equipment and lines and prevent the fault from expanding and affecting the entire DC power supply system.


Monitoring and control: Some 48V DC feeder panels have monitoring functions, which can monitor parameters such as DC bus voltage and branch current in real time, and upload this information to the monitoring system so that operation and maintenance personnel can understand the operation status of the equipment in time, and can also realize remote control of the feeder switch.


Basic composition of feeder panel

Screen body: As the shell of the equipment, it is generally made of metal material with good electromagnetic shielding performance and mechanical strength. It is used to install and fix internal electrical components and provide protection and support.


DC input switch: The main switch connecting the DC bus and the feeder panel is used to control the power input of the entire feeder panel. When the feeder panel needs to be inspected or maintained, the power can be cut off by operating the switch.


DC voltmeter: Used to measure and display the voltage value of the DC bus so that the operation and maintenance personnel can intuitively understand the voltage status of the DC power supply system.


DC power supply insulation monitoring device: Real-time monitoring of the insulation status of the DC system, when insulation reduction or grounding fault occurs, an alarm signal is issued to ensure the safe operation of the DC system.


Modular feeder unit: The plug-in module structure consists of a DC feeder circuit breaker, a leakage current CT, a signal light and an information collection board. Each module corresponds to a feeder branch, and has loop on-off control and overload and short-circuit protection, as well as the functions of collecting and uploading the information status of the feeder unit.
